If you’re wondering about the name, there are sand dunes here that often reach 100 feet tall. Keep in mind this is just one of several great state parks throughout Indiana, with others including the Turkey Run State Park and the Falls of the Ohio State Park. 

 


Finally, any car lover is going to want to spend a day or several at the Indy 500. This famous race that takes place over Memorial Day weekend, and more than 300,000 people attend each year. Make sure you get tickets ahead of time.
